Gender equality is a key area of focus. As a member of Advance Women in Business, CSS seeks to increase the number of women in management roles. It supports women by holding a variety of events on building skills, mentorships and role models. Our in-house women's network, rendez femmes, also encourages women to share their experiences with one another. According to the Federal Office for Gender Equality, there's still a big gender pay gap here in Switzerland. In 2020, the Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems (SQS) awarded the CSS Group the  «Fair Compensation» certificate once again, recognising the company’s commitment to equal pay for equivalent work.

Moreover, we are keen to promote professional development over each individual's lifespan. We want to provide our employees with the best possible support in their career planning and point them in the direction of development opportunities, especially at later stages in their career. To that end, we offer the '50plus' seminar, where employees can take stock of their life so far and make plans for the future.
