Equality
We attach great importance to equal opportunities. Progressive conditions of employment ensure that all employees have the same opportunities. Flexible working time and part-time models apply at every management level.
To help women thrive in management roles, we're a member of Advance – Gender Equality in Business. This network of over 100 Swiss-based companies is committed to increasing the share of women in management. Membership enables our female employees to attend various skill-building and networking events.
Equal pay
According to the Federal Office for Gender Equality, there are still great differences in pay here in Switzerland. In 2014, CSS became one of the first companies to be awarded the "Fair Compensation" certificate by the Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems (SQS), attesting to equal pay for equal work. CSS has practically eliminated the pay gap since then. We remain committed to the principle of equal pay for equal work, and take part in the annual review.
Cooperating across languages
As a company that is present throughout Switzerland, we work in three of its national languages – French, German and Italian – and are thus attuned to the cultural differences between each language region. We also give our employees the chance to attend language courses. The basic rule in our day-to-day work is that everyone can communicate in their own mother tongue.
