1 tsp chasteberry tea
1 cup hot water
Pour the boiling water over the tea and leave to infuse for approx. 10 minutes.
To stabilise the menstrual cycle, drink 2 cups per day for 6 weeks.
Then stop taking the tea for one week to reduce the side effects and a possible loss of effectiveness.
Many finished products containing chasteberry are sold in pharmacies and drug stores.
Chasteberry should not be taken by pregnant or breastfeeding women, young girls during puberty, or women suffering from cancer or thyroid problems. Side effects such as diarrhoea or an itchy skin rash can occur sometimes.
