Registering for myCSS

Follow our step-by-step instructions that will guide you through the process. Choose the form of registration that’s right for you:

Immediately with AHV number

  1. Create a myCSS user account.
  2. Enter your AHV number.
  3. Confirm your identity using a CSS document number. You can find it next to the QR code on the left side of the page on all your personal CSS documents such as your policy or benefit statement.
  4. Start using myCSS right away.

By post with activation code

  1. Create a myCSS user account.
  2. Receive a personal activation code within 5 working days.
  3. Log in to myCSS using email address and password.
  4. Enter mobile number and SMS code.
  5. Finish registration and start using myCSS.

The registration process is now complete. As of now, all you need is your email address, password and mobile phone number for the SMS code.

Installing the myCSS app

Please register for myCSS before downloading the myCSS app. Once you have completed registration, follow these steps:

  1. Download app from the Google Play Store or App Store.
  2. Open app and accept the Terms of Use.
  3. Enter email and password.
  4. Enter 6-digit SMS code.
  5. Additionally set up myCSS app code for maximum protection. You can also open the app using Touch ID or Face ID.

The myCSS app works on smartphones and tablets with iOS 15.0 and Android 10 or later operating systems.
